The latest appointments at Jacob & Co. Watch Company, La Perla, Tiffany & Co, Trussardi, L’Oreal Luxury Division and Belstaff.

Since the beginning of 2011, there has been an endless stream of executive movement within the luxury industry. New CEO’s have been appointed at Rolex, Givenchy, Emanuel Ungaro, De Beers, Anya Hindmarch, Edmiston, Boucheron, Ulysse Nardin, Ferretti Group, Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent, TechnoMarine and Kenzo, just to name a few.

New creative directors were appointed at Chloé, Balmain and Pringle of Scotland, as John Galliano exited Dior, Milan Vukmirovic left Trussardi and Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi were dismissed from Gianfranco Ferrè, by new owners, Dubai-based Paris Group.

Appointments have, understandably, slowed down. L’Oreal and Tiffany & Co have looked within for their next leaders, whilst Belstaff have called on the external expertise of Harry Slatkin and Tommy Hilfiger, as the brand moves forward with Labelux as new owners.

Harry Slatkin, CEO, Belstaff

Harry Slatkin, founder of the global home fragrance business Slatkin & Co., will join Belstaff as CEO, following the recent acquisition of the brand by Labelux Group. Tommy Hilfiger will also join the Belstaff advisory team as a business consultant to the brand.
